K1: ½ night for Az Heidenhain encoder testing: This would include a pointing test, slewing test, and a tracking test.  Sometime in Nov would be great for this one, but I’ll take any night

K1: ½ night for Elevation analog board verification, Dec or later

K2: ½ night for Elevation analog board verification, Dec or later

I may be off island for the Dec 15 and 16 nights.

This is the call for Keck engineering time proposals for period November 2008 - January 2009. If you intend to ask for night-time engineering during this period, please fill out the attached proposal template for each test and submit for review by the engineering time allocation committee (ETAC). The proposal deadline is 13 Oct 2008.
